vignoble de Gaillac"
The
Gaillac vineyards were planted by the Romans along the
sunny banks of the River Tarn. History reveals that
the wines, whose reputation was safeguarded by the Benedictine
monks, were widely appreciated in Northern Countries
in the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. In Tudor England,
they were much imbibed by Henry VIII
The
wines of Château Larroze express all the typical
local varietals of the region such as Duras, Braucol,
Loin de l'oeil, in the respect of the tradition.
